Doc has been out at night since last June and up to now we have had no attacks!!! Vet physio been today and is amazed how well we have done and recommended we try 24/7 turnout with shelter. It couldn't have come at a better time really as the liveries where we are have been awful towards us and me and hubby had decided to look what was about anyway.
So! New things ahead, scary times

I think that's great news!!! Both that Doc is doing so well out, and that you'll be looking for new digs. Too many people think they know everything (even if it's contradictory of a vet or physio), and you didn't seem to get very good support there. I hope you'll have a better time in your new place

I'm really pleased to hear this. Good luck with your search for suitable new digs for Doc.

That's good news, perhaps you can find a field with a shelter to rent on your own or with just one other person so you can manage him how you want with no interference from others who think they know best.
I was on my own for 3 years and it was great, only thing was I had to rely on friends when I was away, now with Amy sharing I've got the best of both worlds as we think alike re. management and we share chores.

Wow I bet you're really pleased Being on your own is great; you can ask people you know and trust for opinions and advice when you want them, rather than people who think they know it all giving you criticism all the time!

scary - but you'll not look back!
I know so many people that have taken these sort of steps and never regretted it.
