Lovely day out at Linda's

I hadn't seen Linda since before Christmas so a visit down with Harvey was way overdue. It was lovely to see all her gang looking so well and we had a fabulous ride up the hills with Harvey and Saturn. Harvey was delighted to see his old friend Saturn and forged ahead at great speed. I had thought he might be feeling a bit jaded after our long, strenuous endurance ride last Sunday but no, he was up for anything.

After the ride - and, of course, the obligatory sandwiches with a glass or 2 of wine - we put Saturn back in the field and got Penley out. This is the first time Penley and Harvey have met properly:





Linda then popped bridle on Penley and we walked with him down a bit of the very busy road. He is not a bit bothered about traffic, lorries etc and even calmly walked down a very narrow gap between to big piles of newly delivered bricks covered by plastic sheets! I doubt very much Harvey would have behaved so well! I think Linda has a great pony in the making with Penley.

Oh lovely pics, nice the boys got along, does Penley suffer from sweet itch ? I think that's a Boett Blanket, what a shame if he does it's such a nightmare X
