Another great ride

I'm running out of new places in Lincolnshire to take Harvey for a ride - he gets bored of our regular rides and thrives on new experiences. But yesterday I took him down to Linda's and we did a ride new to me - 9 miles over hilly terrain, beautiful fields and immaculately kept farm tracks. It did involve a couple of short stretches along busy A-roads and also we were a bit naughty riding down some public footpaths but Harvey was an absolute star throughout.

Sadly I didn't take any pics of the lovely countryside but here is Saturn enjoying a snack while his Mum dismounted for a call of nature:

Needless to say out ride began with a lovely picnic accompanied by some bubbly

Sounds a lovely ride, the only pony I've ever had I would trust to leave like that would have been Spud, as long as he had grass he wouldn't have moved.

You have so much fun with Harvey and yours and his friends that's what riding is all about, this is the sort of thing I want to do
