Hi, just heard from the mother and daughter in Wiltshire that they want to return our beloved boy. The 10 year old daughter decided she wanted to do pony club with him after a few months although they knew he had only hacked and hunted and said that was all they wanted to do. We were told by the mum that he bucked her off during a schooling session and she wouldn't get on again. I know that he would have given her atleast five warnings that he was getting uncomfortable and irritated by whatever they were doing - there is no way a buck would come out of nowhere- anyway home wanted for loving pony who loves hacking and hunting in company and is a bit green at anything else so needs introducing slowly and empathetically!

Oh that is a shame, A 10 year old is possibly a little young and lacking in strength and experience for a green Dales, hope you can find a good home

Oh dear. It sounds like they havent really given him a chance to settle and have rushed to do things too quickly. I hope you can find him a lovely new home soon.

What a shame, I know three Yartleton ponies and they're all sweethearts. Have they been feeding him high octane fuel?

 what a shame for both pony and jockey. I agree, the Yarleton ponies are super sweet. Your poor boy was probably unhappy and they didn't pick up on the warnings. I hope you can find him a great new home who will keep up with his happy hacking and hunting
