Wow!!!! They look amazing How big are they? Are they the actual Kelpies, or a casting? How on earth did they transport them to Kelso? We had a big fad in the '90s I think it was where companies had all these fibreglass cows and ponies, and then artists painted them differently, and they put them on display all over Kansas City and a bunch of other cities here in the US. That's why I asked if they were the original Kelpies, or casts for a lack of a better word. I know there's another word for it, but my addled brain can't find it this morning. Thank you so much for sharing the pics, though. They're beautiful

They are the maquettes for the full size ones, if you look carefully at one of the pics of the horse with its head looking down you can see a little scale model of a man that shows you how big the full size ones are

Wow, the full sized ones are MASSIVE then! Thanks for explaining these, and letting me know where to look for the scale. How neat they've brought these to Kelso Will they stay or do you only get to keep them for a time? They're so pretty. I love the loose, flowing style.

They are only in Kelso until Monday, I must get to Falkirk one day soon and see the full sized ones
