Connie has changed shape quite a lot since I've had her, she was not used to being turned out and had irregular exercise so although she wasn't poor she was poorly muscled and quite angular. She has muscled up quite a lot now she is out 24/7 and ridden 5 times a week and is getting a good top line now, which means she has gone up a saddle width and Spuds saddle is now a tad too narrow.
I always knew it wouldn't be a permanent saddle for her but I had thought we may get another few months from it, I had looked at getting my Semiflex saddle altered at the factory to fit her but it is too long for her so can't be altered.
So I 've had to bite the bullet and order a new saddle for her, I've gone for an Albion GP with a deep seat and generous knee rolls and it feels very secure, I've ordered a 17.5" seat with a short panel so it fits my bum and her back, in black. It has the new adjustable tree so can be changed by my saddle fitter as she muscles up more.
I hope she doesn't get any wider before our first pleasure ride on 5th July or we won't be going, the new saddle should be here the week before the BHS camp around the 14th July so we should be OK for that.
Now need to sell the Semiflex to partially fund it, such a shame I loved that saddle.

Sorry to hear you'll have to sell a saddle you love to fund this one, but how posh! You'll have to show us photos when Connie gets her brand new saddle

I'm really looking forward to getting it, it felt so comfy and secure when I had a sit on one.
