Stabling has been available on the yard of the show ground, of which the yard owner is present, however this is now fully booked. Alternatively corralling is available on the show field at the owners risk, although the show field is secure. There are also several other local livery yards that may have stabling available. Unfortunately the meeting can't be held on site as there are no facilities other than a field and a toilet and we can't run to the expense of hiring a marquee with lighting etc; we would also have to pay for the show field for an extra day which would run up further costs. The yard owner has kindly agreed to allow people to stay on the site for free the night before the show, only charging a nominal fee if they would like an electric hook up. The Young Committee event and the Midlands Show are also separate events, we just thought it would be useful and convenient to hold the event at a time and place where members of the society would be congregating anyway, also to bring some of the Young Committee's events further down the country and make them more accessible.
