Quick update on the very cheeky Flynn de Kingmaker who is now 2 months old and starting to shed his foal coat. We can confirm that he's whole BLUE ROAN, rather than black These are not the greatest photos as it's so hot here at the moment (over 35 °C every day) that the mares and foals are spending ALL of the daylight hours in the shade of the barn, and only emerging at sunset when it's too dark to take good pics, but you can see the roan hairs on his chest and hindquarters coming through : More photos on our website : www.kingmaker-dales.com/flynn1.html

That's brilliant, he looks a lovely little chap, I do love a roan especially blue roan, do you think he may be stallion material?

Happy dance!!!! I think it's brilliant you decided to call him Flynn too I hope he gets to be stallion material in the future. "Alright, you leave me no choice. Here comes the smolder."

We don't mind if he stays entire or is gelded. He's been reserved to a new home in the UK after weaning and his new owner wants to run him on as a potential stallion, so it will be interesting to see how he matures
