Hello everyone, i'm new here so first of all hello! secondly can anyone give me some tips on showing, i have a 15.2 dales I've entered in a show for august, we're doing large mountain and moorland and veteran classes. Whats the correct turnout for him and should I put him in a double bridle etc.? I've done showing before but with welsh sec A's so its a little different. His owners are going to be there so I want to make a good impression! thanks for you help

Hi Han welcome to Dalesfans, he should be shown in a natural state no trimming/pulling, if you want to put the Dales ribbons in his tail there fab instrutions on here, as for bridles if he is happy in a double bridle and you are confident using one then yes use it. oh and good luck Ribbons instructions dalesfans.proboards.com/thread/8209/tail-ribbons

I don't really do showing so nothing to add to Zelda's reply but welcome to Dalesfans, always lots of good advice to be had here.

Hello and welcome to dalesfans I'm not a showing person either but I would say just use whatever bridle he is happiest with. Good luck and do show us some pics. I love the bigger Dales.
