Last week I spotted a new advert on the DPS For Sale section - Earnwell Jethro. He was only a few miles away in Northallerton, sounded just what I was looking for, so went to see him and immediately fell in love -a 'coup de foudre'. When I work out how to do it, will provide some photos. His owner is giving up riding and he was with her niece, who originally backed him. He is just six and is still quite green, but my instructor was as smitten with him as me, and will bring us on together. Jethro came to my livery on Monday evening and has settled really well. We have spent a lot of time doing ground work in the outdoor school and trying out tack. He is very interested in his new surroundings and enjoys the attention he is getting from everyone.
i hope we can do a class at Richmond in August, depending on our progress. Exciting times ahead-so happy to have found what I was looking for.
