Connie and I did a 10mile EGB pleasure ride at NT Ickworth park on Sunday, it was all in lovely parkland with loads of long canters, it was extremely busy with hundreds of people visiting the NT property and grounds, and loads of sheep loose in the park. I went with my instructor and Sam her horse Al and had a fantastic time, Connie was so good, behaved very well and was not at all phased by all the activity. I was so pleased with her, it was much more open than the forest so she could see horses everywhere, but although excited she remained very controllable, we all had great fun.

I didn't realise how much I've aged in 5 years until I looked at these 2 photos side by side, still feel young in the head though and I guess that's what matters.
Sort of brings it home that I need to get out there and enjoy doing lots of things with Connie while I can.
