Lovely photos of your lovely ponies Zelda, Trev looks about as podgy as Emerald at the moment.

It's not the best angle for him, the camera has added a few pounds lol

What beautiful pics! I particularly like the first one of Ben and the action shot of Bluebell.
Did the blood tests throw any light on Gem's problem? My vet suggested I get Dolly tested because she can go from very fat to very thin and now back to very fat again.

Gems Cushings test came back as normal, tho the vet does think she has metabolic problems. I really need to get doing some ground work with her to see if she will muscle up a bit, we've had so much bad weather my sore back (which has gone again:() oh and the excitement of waiting for our first grandchild to be born he/she is due in 6 weeks it's not been easy

That's interesting. I don't think Dolly has Cushings either but there might be some sort of metabolic imbalance. Sorry to hear about your back.

It's not the best angle for him, the camera has added a few pounds lol I have that problem as well Zelda, the camera always makes me look bigger than I think I am Gem looks a bit like Connie when I had her, no muscle due to being stood in the stable all the time and no turn out, she has certainly muscled up with work and turnout, but that can't be all of Gem's problem a she lives out, the right sort of work may well help though. Sorry to hear you've got a bad back, how exciting to be awaiting your first grandchild though.

I was admiring Bluebell's first pic.... Wow, a leg at each corner.... then scrolled down to see the next shot what a difference! And clearly she's as atheletic as ever Oh my, I thought Gem might be skinny because Trev had been chasing the weight off her. Poor ducky, it can be worrying when you don't know what the deal is making them change weight so much. Really sorry to hear about your back, though sending along some soothing 'get well soon' vibes! Afterall, you have exciting times ahead with grandchild on the way

Wonderful pictures of your ponies! You take such nice shots. Trev and Ben are such handsome chunky boys. Bluebell looks wonderful, no need for lateral stretches cause she has that down. Poor Gem, I hope the vet can help find a plan to help her pick up. Hope your back feels better soon so you can enjoy even more the excitement of your grandchild's birth.
