Our Area 16 autumn ride

We held it a week ago and 5 ponies were there - this is a lot for our area rides! I picked The Splash as the venue because every one enjoys riding down the stream and we hadn't been there for a while. It seems they have changed hands since I last booked and there was a distinct lack of communication between staff. I booked a table for lunch and was told it would be fine to park our trailers there. When we arrived on the day the manager knew nothing about it and made us feel very uncomfortable over taking up parking space so we ended up all doing the shorter ride which is not what I'd planned. Still, I think every one enjoyed it and the faster ponies did manage to peel off and have a good, fast trot/canter before the end.

Lovely photos, it sounds a lovely ride I like the idea of riding through all that water, Spud would have loved it but everyone would have been soaked, he always loved to splash!!

Shame about having cut the ride short though.

Shame about the shorter ride, but at least it was a nice outing for you all and the ponies had a blast.

I think Amba would have loved to be part of the gang- she LOVES water!
