5 years ago the plan was for Becky to have a foal. However we all know plans are bad.... She wouldn't take and it looked unlikely I'd have a baby Becky. So 4 years ago plan B began. We had a day trip to the fell sales and came back with a 5 month old dales colt It has seemed this time would never come but in August he went to stay with Nic and Penny- I didn't have time to back and get him going or the facilities as the herd has extended and Rory Duke Belle and Evie are all in a rented field out 24/7. He came back last sunday and today we finally tacked him up. He ended up with Rory's tack as I'd forgotten his bridle is in the wagon- and found he has a much bigger head than Rory! Then Lu hopped on, had a walk and trot around the field before heading down the lane. He didn't put a hoof wrong

Wow he has grown up to be such a handsome boy! And what a little star, he seems very relaxed about the whole thing.
