We decided to bite the bullet and go for 2 tests on the same day - Intro A and Intro B ( yesterday I was wishing that we hadn't) as I kept muddling them as I was trying to remember them. I've not ridden a test for at least 15 years maybe more - so I was a pretty nervous daddy. The venue was indoors with music, mirrors, spectators gallery and a scary judges box. Bertie was a little tense at first , but soon settled with no major disasters. We got two 61.74 - the same marks for each test. That gave us a qualifer for the UK Riders regionals in June - so a very content daddy for our 1st ever outing .

Well done both of you. I cheat and try to con somebody into reading for me as I get muddled if trying to remember 2.

Well done What a brilliant start, no wonder you are thrilled with your boy. Don't forget we are hoping to get an Area 16 team of Dales Ponies together for a Team Quest team for 2016...

Well done to both of you, what a good start, Bertie is really proving to be a little star isn't he I have trouble remembering a test too, I had a caller for my first and only test I've done with Connie at camp in the summer, there was only one test Prelm 13 so no choice, but I'd like to do a few intro's over the winter.

Bertie is short for Cuthbert (I bred him) and the idea was for my Dales colts to be named after the Northumberland early Christian saints. I had got Aidan (Danny) lined up, but Hettie has only produced 1 colt so far - and four fillies!
