On Saturday evening I went to the ADR Christmas Dinner and awards ceremony, lovely to catch up with friends and we got 2nd in the novice section ( first season) and also our 100 miles mileage rosette (yes we are still in miles not kilometers). Not bad as we only started in July. I also got a rosette and a lovely present for organising a ride.

Well done, that's very good going in just a few months! Our awards dinner is this coming g weekend but unfortunately I can't go. Not expecting any trophies this year other than hopefully the 150km rosette.

I thought you would have done much more than 150 km as you and Harvey have done many more rides than us, is that cumulative or just for this year? ours are cumulative, one rider got 6000 mile award, that's 9600km if my maths is correct. That was over a lot of years with a pony who is now 26 though, but still a fantastic achievement

No, that's just for this year. I can't remember my cumulative milage but it won't be that much.
