Harvey's Christmas present

After being told last the end of last year that we weren't visible enough on a dull day I splashed out and bought both me and Harvey some new high-viz gear. Harvey trying out his new outfit for the first time:

These are very, very effective. There are some riders in the next village who have these, and you can spot them a mile off when driving.

I bought my Highland one in the summer to also help keep the horseflies off his hindquarters, but then never got the chance to use it, he is now sold and it is sat in a box in the tack room never used.

What a smart boy he looks in it, I've got a bright pink one for Connie plus a breast plate, leg wraps and nose band cover, and I splashed out for Em at YHL and got her a mesh quarter sheet in a combination of yellow and pink with 4 matching leg wraps and a new hat band for me.

We go out lit up like a Christmas tree, but I feel we need all the help we can get at this time of year on dark ponies, in fact I tend to use it all year round.

Had my second ride in it yesterday and am thrilled with it. We can be seen for miles and it really is an excellent fit.
