Thank you for accepting me as a member. I am the proud owner of a 6 year old gelding called 'Wensley' registered name Waterside Lucky Star. He is a real cheeky chappy and an absolute pleasure to own. I wanted to ask members opinions on body protectors. I have tried a few but as I am 5'3 I find them too long in the back. Was also wondering if the sweatshirts with the logo are still available to buy? Apologies if I have posted in the wrong place.

Hi welcome to Dalesfans, if you look here you will find what Dales merchandise there is to buy www.gggear.co.uk (go to clubs and then click DPS) As for the body protectorissue I'm sure if you go to a good saddlers where they hae some who is trained in fitting body protectors you will be able to get on to fit some makes have changeable sections (I think) I have Waterside Gem same sire as your boy, do you have any photos of him, we'd love to see him - we are a nosey lot and love looking at everyones pics

Hello and welcome to Dalesfans I can't advise on body protectors - I use an air jacket plus I'm taller. But, as Zelda says, a good saddler should be able to advise. The new centenary clothing and saddle pads are lovely. I'm about to order some myself. Do post some pics of your lad. Love to hear more about him.

Thank you for the replies. I will certainly look into having a body protector professionally fitted. I will upload some pics when I get time although I must warn you that my photography skills are virtually non existent.

I too have a racesafe, I think mine might be a child's xl as well. I seem to recall you could have it made to measure for length. I do like the flexibility of it, I had mine professionally fitted at a saddlers.
Welcome to DFs! Love the name Wensley!
