Our grey mare Argill Lady Beth gave birth to her third foal on 10th May 2016; a GREY colt who we have named GALILEO de Kingmaker, pet name Leo. His sire is our black stallion Thornville Pride. Galileo is a bit of a novelty for us, because he's the first grey Dales we have bred. He was born jet black, which made us suspect that he might be grey, so we pulled some of his tail hairs and had them colour-tested by the Animal Genetics Lab in Cornwall. Result = heterozygous grey. Leo has been reserved to a new home in Germany. He'll be living with Equinox de Kingmaker, who we sold in 2014, and several Dales mares Galileo : Foal number 5 is GALAXY de Kingmaker, pet name Lexi, a rare BAY ROAN Dales filly by Coverdales Carnival King out of Packsfield Ella Beck, born on 14th May 2016. Lexi is as cheeky as they come !!! It's like having her brother Ziggy and sister Calissi in our fields all over again Galaxy has been reserved to a new home in the UK.

All the foals are gorgeous Helen I am grateful that you've sold Galaxy though as a bay roan out of a Becky may have been too much temptation for Em lol.

They are beautiful! I'm glad Galileo has been reserved because he would have been a temptation to me and I have enough ponies.

All the foals are gorgeous Helen I am grateful that you've sold Galaxy though as a bay roan out of a Becky may have been too much temptation for Em lol. She was reserved very quickly without being advertised. I had 3 people wanting her in-utero if she was roan, and 12 enquiries within 24 hours of her birth, so I chose what I hope will be the most suitable home for her, where she'll do a range of activities to keep her active little brain occupied

I think he would have suited you brilliantly Pam as he looks like he'll be one of the taller sort of Dales, which I know you prefer, plus he's a really sweet and gentle boy and very active. I think he's the fastest foal we've bred, lol. We plan to mate Beth to Wilf again later in June, so maybe next year...... If Galileo stays entire he'll be the first grey Dales stallion in Germany, and if he's gelded we hope he'll make a nice eye-catching all-rounder, which will hopefully attract more german people to the breed

2 more stunning foals, all your foals are always so lovely Helen, if only I was 10 years younger and braver I'd be very tempted. It speaks volumes that your foals are reserved so quickly.
