No! On the entry form it asked whether you prefer early or late times or don't mind. I asked for late times as I wasn't stabling and it's a 3 hour journey for me. I was given 10AM and 4.30PM so after much deliberating I decided to withdraw because we had the Team Quest national finals coming up the following week. But then we decided to withdraw from that too because the travelling was too much for a couple the team members who are new to this sort of thing. As it turned out, I'm relieved because I was exhausted and Harvey has had enough of dressage. taking him to Trec this weekend for a change.

It's indoor trec at Kenwick near Louth.

While it is a shame on the one level, I have to say I'm relieved to hear this. You sat back and looked at the times, the travel times AND you listened to Harvey as you made your decision KUDOS to you!!!! So many owners don't take it all in. Really these competitions should be a treat for you and your pony. It's better to know when to draw the line so you won't both become sour.
