I do love my girl! Mary has been riding her. She said she is so very smart. Even if she keeps an eye on me while she is being worked by Mary. It has been so nice to here positive things about her. Down side. Daisy escapes the pasture. She can only go out under supervison. We have fixed the fence alot. Gonna help put up an electric fence soon as spring hits. She is now on a diet. She has gained some from this winter. Don't want her to be too chunky. She has to know this as she keeps space hay in her mane and tail!

Lovely to hear Daisy is coming on nicely. I think we could do with some more pics please. Mmmmmm electric fencing is a wonderful thng! I don't think I'd be able to keep my lot in the right fields without it.

Even with electric fencing, Blossom tries it....even plays games with it! So I can fully understand your fencing nightmares. But Mary's comments on Daisy are wonderful!! Its so lovely when someone else dotes on your pony. And I bet Daisy is one clever girlie

I don't have pics. BUT, I rode her today. I am thrilled with her progress. She is doing so well. We had winds outside at about 60 miles per hour. She didn't blink while I was riding her in the indoor. I so love her.

Well done! I'm glad it is all coming together for you and Daisy. You are brave riding in winds like that!

Bravo Anne!!! The more time you can spend bonding with her in a controlled environment like that, the better. You'll both learn you're safe together, and that's what its all about. REally pleased you've had such a lovely ride, especially with the winds like that

Oh come on, where's our pics!! Want to see that gorgeous girl. Fabulous that she was such a good girl for you and in that wind, really well done both of you. If you're like me riding in the indoor school is not near as fun as the trails, but Debbie's got a good point about it being a great place to gain confidence in each other. I've been riding Knight in a school to help a friend & her horse get over a little lack of confidence. Really helps loads and gives Knight a chance to see how boring & not scarry a strange school is. He's not as good in the wind as Daisy though, she's a star to put up with that.
