Thanks Nancy that's a great site - lots of interesting things.
Pam, I'd be interested in one but expect it would be too £££ for me, I wonder how it would be in high winds don't fancy my ££ blowing off into the next county lol ;D

The way the wind can blow at your place Zelda I think I'd tie it to a tree, so it won't take wing like your field shelter did! I can just see Knight running after a flying hay feeder calling out for it to stop because he wasn't finished!
Pam, I thought that too, that this was the safest looking feeder I'd seen. Knight is hopeless with overhead sorts of feeders, he just pulled the hay out & eats it from the ground anyway. Looks like only a foal might be able to get a hoof though the openings in the sides, so probably not great for bitty ones. The basket has some give, it's not completely rigid, so even if one of them managed to hop into it (please ponies do not read this and try it) I think it would just flex & the backet hit the gound and be able to be popped back in place after. And it's survived for over a month and Knight has not killed it yet, so you know it's sturdy.

Thanks for the link!
I found one for $399 rrp on sale for $350 ie about £175. Sadly I bet it would be £350 over here!
At £175 that's better than a galv cow feeder!

Knight is lovely and I bet he's impressed with his Christmas present, particularly if "Santa" keeps returning to fill it!
The feeder is brilliant - perhaps one of you should become a UK supplier. I'm sure it would sell well!

Nancy, I am starting to think Knight is a stuffed animal. I have not seen him move, at least not very far from his HAY FEEDERS!!! He is lovely, you did well!
