Cheryl and I have started to plan our endurance season for this year, trying to sort out what rides we will be doing, some of the rides are two day events so we have the opportunity to stay overnight, this is where the problem is, unfortunately Cheryl is unable to tow with her car which means we are unable to take ruby(the caravan) so we either need to book b&b or think about getting a tent, this brings us on to a second problem, the tent that Tony bought last year takes him and Jonathan over an hour to put up and Cheryl and I being natural blonds lol we have no chance, so I have been looking at a few alternatives and came up with the Oztent just wondered if any one had used one, I have put a link up for you to have a look at. www.boab.biz/Pages/Oztent%20RV%20The%2030%20Second%20Tent%20from%20BOAB.htm

Sorry Van - have no experience of these. But I had to smile that the video is 13 minutes long - even though they claim that the tent takes 30 seconds to erect! LOL

LOL Sue! I've no experience of iy either but it does look convincing. Maybe the DVD shows them putting the tent up 26 times....
I'd opt for a nice, comfortable B&B - no more roughing it for me, I've done my time...........

We just camp Van! I have a basic 2 man tent that only takes me a couple of minutes to put up and remember I am blonde too ;D Best bet would be to go for a chat at your nearest Outdoor shop and get them to give you a demo of any tent you fancy a look at Good luck

I would get a tent, you can get a cheap ish one that are easy to put up. I found the trailer was where we had the stove for making a nice coffee and bacon rolls in the morning, etc. If it had been raining when we had a stay over we where planning to sleep in the the trailer instead of putting up the tent, luckily it was a lovely night, we join another big group next to us and had a lovely bbq and the ponies all had lovely stables (Malvern Highland pony show).
I have to say, blow up bed, makes a nicer bed for the night and you sleep better. What ever you plan to do i am sure you will have a great time.

The blonde in the pics seems to have no probs at all with this one. I like the idea of going out and 'kicking the tires', but realize you might not be able to do that. Give it a go. And definitely bring the air mattress!!

Not sure how wind and rain proof it would be?? Big blousey tents tend to fly off in storms! My brother bought a cheap Aldi?Lidol? one that shreadded itself the first time it was used and they ended up sleeping in the car! LOL! How much are they??
