Quick question this time - I have a couple of nice sounding young ladies interested in helping ride Penny, what do you think is best to do:
1. Invite them both and make a decision after meeting them and seeing how they take to Penny
or
2. Just try one, by order etc and see how it goes.
What would the normal way be?
My head says to meet them both and then make a decision....

Personally I would invite them both over on seperate days (possibly more than once) and see how they are with Penny aswell as how Penny takes to them

Yep see them both, see how they are riding, tacking up, handling etc and what their time commitment is, maybe they could both share if they are ok. Fingers crossed

Yes, agree with the others, see them both. Good luck - I hope it works out.

I agree too - and like Zelda's idea of watching them groom, pick out feet, tack up and ride. See how they relate to Penny and how she behaves around them - then make your choice.

Everyone agrees with what your head is saying, including me. Have confidence in your gut feelings.

I would invite them both, at different times and see which you feel would be best for both you and Penny. Remember it is your pony and you call the shots.
