We won it on Ebay but when we went to collect it the floor was so rotten you could see the road!!! Ponies had been travelled in it for ages and she never even noticed, the ad stated that the floor was sound and no rot! We mutally agreed that we wouldn't take it so it worked out ok in the end It was also a 200 mile round trip so we were a little miffed as you can understand!

I've never done it, and I would be worried for the likes of ryebrooks experiences. It would be different if you could find out info before the end of the auction etc and check it out before hand.

Id only do it if I could look at it prior to bidding and then check stolen registers if its got a chassis number (thinking of ifors here). Both my horseboxes came from the adtrader.

I have bought 2. One was awful, but got my money back by selling it as a project. 2nd was good a triple trailer and was really pleased with it. If not to far from you, I would view before I bought.

A friend of mine bought one off Ebay - granted it was quite new - an Ifor 505 - cracking price and just as described! They couldnt have been more chuffed!
its a gamble though! A lot of dodgy dudes out there!
