After Jay's colic scare today I'm going to change his bedding. For the last couple of weeks he's been on Nedzbed Pro, but a couple of times I've caught him munching on it. We're wondering whether this may have caused his impaction.
He used to be on shredded cardboard, but I can't get it from my original source any longer. I'm going to look for an alternative supplier, but was wanting to consider all the options. Is there anything else you could recommend that would be completely un-palatable? I'm reluctant to go with shavings as he's prone to thrush infections, which I believe can be exaserbated by shavings.

Brilliant, thanks. Sounds good, I'll look into where I can get it from locally

Yes, I also think Easibed would be the best for your situation.

I hope you fnd something that works for him, we lost a mare who impacted from eating her bed so I know how upsetting it is when they colic like that.

Is Bedmax bedding any good? Large shavings?
