I was standing at the stall door opening talking to Tim and Leah. Daisy was licking my jacket. I had turned just right....she licked my cheek! I couldn't help but laugh. Maybe she is trying to kiss up for escaping on thursday and this morning. Florence was putting shavings in the stall. Stall door open and turned arround. Daisy just "walked" out and went to the grain bin. (typical Dales!)

Awww, how cute. Funnily enough, the mares I've had over the years have all liked to lick my face but not the geldings. I've assumed it was the salt they were after.......

I must admit. She could have had anything she wanted after the lick. Heck, Bogart doesn't give kisses. It was welcome. Of course Ted was relieved that he didn't have to give me a kiss when I came home smelling of stall #5 (or was it #6, # 8, or # 14 I forget) Might be worth to note that he is a shavings driver. He delivers tractor trailer loads of shavings to horse farms and dairy farms. So, he smells like the shavings before they have been "blessed"  |

Aww, cute ;D. Most of mine will sniff me but Toby is the one who nibbles me all over, when I was mucking out his stable while he was in it, he would stand over me gently nibbling my head and hair lol. However he sometimes uses his teeth  |
