some ponies . Today was tootsie trim day and they were both pains - but Prince took the trophy for prat of the week, he didn't want to stand still and to top it off dragged me all over on the way back to the field - so I'm now sporting a nice rope burn, a sprained finger, a grazed shin where he dragged me through a bush and a strained back/tummy the words dog and food were muttered last time I looked he was sulking by the field shelter as he didn't get a mint and Daisy did

LOL....I know that 'sulk' ... Blossom can pout for Scotland if she feels she's been done unfair Honestly, though What was the lad thinking?! Poor you, I'm another who'd second that arnica and hot bath idea. Be careful reaching for things high up for a bit. I found out the hard way when I'd strained my tummy muscles that tippy toe reaching was not to be for a bit.

Indeed -poor you, ponies, sometimes their "personalities" are lovely and at others........
Hope you feel better soon - some neurofen before bed perhaps and again in the morning if you feel really stiff?

Oo Zelda, that sounds sore. Long bath and arnica and a hot water bottle for you. Take it easy tomorrow as those muscles will still be pretty upset.

I do hope you are feeling better. I do know that Daisy has had a go without consulting me about the matter.
Long hot bath is lovely.

I know how you feel, Zelda. The farrier has just left after doing Storm, Freya, Midi and Tali. Roxy was due for a trim too but the little ****** decided she was not going to be caught and leave her new friend Jinty now that they are in the big field and led me a merry dance until I finally had to admit defeat She is now booked in for next Wednesday with Mina and Amber and I think I will bring her in FIRST. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Hope you are not too sore.

Truly pleased you're on the mend. I'd say don't bother bending your finger, but give it a bit to heal. If it stays swollen or begins to hurt even worse, you might pop over (I know, not easy) for xrays, as you may have done a bit more than a sprain. When I duffed my pinkie in 2006, I vet wrapped it to my ring finger for support. Otherwise I found I was snagging my pinkie on all sorts of things and reinjuring it
