Why is horse riding such a female populated sport?! Any male riders on here?! Bet there aren't or there are very few!

Maybe it is because a lot of men don't like poncing around in breeches?
In western we see a lot of male competitors and a number are excellent riders who have ridden at international level- but they rarely are willing to don the breeches to ride english, even though they can ride a mean dressage test.
The only guy I've seen look good in breeches is Damian Hallam who rides dressage.

You do get more men on dressage forums and they are more evident in showjumping/cross country but perhaps men riding ponies are a rare breed! Only one I can think of on here is Brian (Stonefold ponies).
