Hes got a vet going to look at him later. He wont settle and is getting worse when they have tried to ride him, had vet, physio etc out so much but they want a closer examination to see if its not physical around back etc more head Never thought it may be maybe somthing in his brain. On another hand, a friend has told me about this mare, 16hh chestnut mare (non mareish) 12yrs old. Done a bit of everything, perfect to hack/hunt. She's more suited to being an allrounder/riding club level stuff than big affiliated stuff. My friends OH has been riding her, he's only a novice and he's jumped and hunter her all ok. Vaccinated/passported. She's called Just Jaffa! Such a cool name lol. Her previous loaner just galloped her everywhere for 3 months, but she's now been schooled a bit more and is now back in her old ways. They're looking to either loan her or sell her cheap, as the owner has about 30 horses dotted around the place and more money than sense! Sounds hopeful but not wanting to rush into anything else at all. F still lame, shes going to be turned away for 3months then see what happens. Meh I think ive got a horse curse upon me No rush.

Oh dear, poor Smartie. I wonder, bearing in mind his young age, whether he could do with some time off to chill and just be a horse.
JJ sounds perfect - just the sort of horse to give you back your confidence and have some fun with.

JJ sounds like she could be lovely, but with all that dashing about, I'd check that she's sensible with the hacking alone and in traffic if that's what you're after. As for Smartie I wonder what's going on with the lad? He seems an honest sort that tries his heart out, so if its something physical, I do hope they can pinpoint it for you. It could be a decent massage session can sort out his back/neck. It could easily explain erratic behavior under saddle too.
