I was just looking at these recent piccies of my dearest Stumps and noticed how scrawny, weak and lacking in any real topline/muscle her neck is. What do you think? And how can I improve this? Just 'proper' schooling? I must admit, our schooling sessions aren't the most productive, and we're hopeless in the menage!

Normally the thing to do is feed them topline cubes and work them to build up the muscle but Stumps really doesnt need any extra weight as she looks perfect so that proabably isnt a good idea. Global Herbs have brought out a new supplement called Muscle Up, how effective it is i dont know but most of their stuff is pretty good. I would say work lunging in pessoa if you have one etc and if you do 3 times a week you should build it up pretty quick

getting your saddle sorted/replaced should be your first priority. when she's not beeing pinched behind the shoulders she will be happier to drop her nose, raise her back and strengthen her topline. good lunging, asking for low head, correct bend and inside hind engagement will also help enormously.
