Do you keep your lovely mare on Oestress during the winter months, or take her off it, re-starting again mid-spring of next year?

Sorry, I have only just seen this thread! I keep my mare on it but only because I use it for her travelling. Its a long story, but with it she is fine to travel, without it and we have had some traumatic journeys. I only give her 1/2 scoop daily so a tub last a long while and I do not consider the risk of taking her of it to be economically viable! However, if I were giving it to a mare for its usualy purpose, I would stop for the winter when I know the seasons have stopped and restart in Spring, so I would probably end in October and restart end of March. However, be warned, some mares don't stop, even though they would be perhaps less fertile in winter. Hope this helps, and of course others may have an opinion too and shout me down completely!

I'm planning on feeding it throughout winter as it has had such a good effect on general behaviour
