We went up really early this morning to ride, and there was poor Bo hobbling around. I immediately panicked thinking it was the dreaded lami, but it's only painful on his back feet. He's absolutely fine in himself, can't feel any pulse, and can't see anything in his feet so have come to the conlcusion that he's footsore after the farriers visit on Thursday and with the ground being so hard. He's had a bute this morning, and I'll give him another one this evening and fingers crossed he gets better quickly.

Poor little Bo! Hope he gets better soon Kim, perhaps the bute will do the trick. This ground is so hard at the moment, can quite understand if he's footsore after the Farrier! With the promised rain tomorrow it may make it a bit easier for the poor lad. Give him a big love from me!!

Poor Bo. Glad it's not Laminitis. I should think with this hard ground it is easy to bruise or jar something. Hope he feels better soon.

He seems a bit better this afternoon, he doesn't seem quite so footy although that could be the bute. We've never had a footsore horse before with our farrier, but he did take a lot off, and I really hope that this is what's caused it and it's nothing more sinister.

Well I didn't get to go up today as I was in London, so Nick did him. Think Bo's feeling a bit better because when Nick was putting him back out this evening he tried to double barrel him before running off - little s**, or should I say big s** LOL. So fingers crossed he's OK.

Oooh, good thing Nick's okay too... little booger! He must be feeling better then. I'll bet the hard ground contributed to the footsoring... ground's like concrete just now...
