Advice please re worming an in foal mare! (that's if they are still in foal of course)
I have just read that you shouldn't worm for bots a horse that is in foal.

Hi, I would seek your vets advice - ours told us just to worm with panacur but your vet might have different advice.

Because we didnt know Gypsy was in foal til very late on we just wormed her with equimax as normal and had no problems but I suppose I would want to be very careful with one I knew was in foal. Actually, thinking about it we did worm her about 6 weeks before Breeze was born with advice from Simon at Wormers direct and Im sure we just used Equivalan (sp - the equimax without the tape bit!)
