I got some of this for Jenny when she started to turn up her nose at butties and beer. When I opened the tub I was very dubious as it had a strong though not unpleasant smell, sort of spicey and nutmeggy.
Anyway, I gave it a go, adding it in ever-increasing quantities to her feed (and Monty's, in case they swapped pots...) and she's been on it now since just before Christmas and is quite happy to eat it! It's mixed in with sugar beet and pasture mix.
She's still lame because of the arthritis, it's never going to go away, but she seems much 'looser' and less tight and stiff through her shoulders, hips and back.
2 weekends ago it was a lovely crisp day and as I rode Harley past her field she cantered along the bottom with us, and then did one of her extravagant Arab dances. It was wonderful to see.
So I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Very glad to hear you've seen souch an improvement in her! I would imagine this time of year will be the worst for her so it sounds very encouraging. Congratulations. Jo

After we had such success with Bonnie with this I now take a Devil's Claw based tablet. It doens't help with acute pain levels much although I have noticed that I use less over the counter pain kilers now so my general chronic pain levels have obviously reduced. On the days when I need my prescription pain killers I still really need them.
The main benefit for me has been a reduction in the active and hot inflammation in my hands and knees.
