Well, after 4 months of treatment, and £4789 (gulp), it has finally gone! though I won't say she is back to normal! It could be a lot worse, she has a blue splodge of scarring, though it is towards the back, so she can see fine at the front and side, but is a bit restricted towards the rear, doesn't seem to bother her though. Not too noticeable when looking at her from the front, only the side. hopefully her forelock will grow long and disguise it! I expect showing is now a forlorn hope, but does anyone know if it would go against her? Might try once, just to see. But just so glad she actually has an eye and can see mostly!

Brilliant news! You must be thrilled and relieved too! I'm no Showing expert but I don't see why it should be held against you. Deffinately give it a go.

Well if Claire Dale can show her one-eyed pony I don't see why you should show a pony with a scarred eye. I guess a judge might mark her down a bit - but you could still have fun. I'd give it a go.....
What relief that she's OK now.

Hurrah!!!! I'm sooo glad the ulcer's finally gone Do give the showing a try. As Sue says, the worst that can happen is the judge would mark down a bit, but surely not throw you from the ring. I think you two would have fun

Brilliant news to hear that the ulcer has gone. What a relief for you. I would still show her and be proud of her as I'm sure the judges would be pleased to see you out there.
