Yesssss! I used the Pro Event on loan from Rideaway in my lesson today and once I'd stopped hanging onto Bea like grim death over the jumps and relaxed and gave him enough rein to actually move (LOL) we flew. I felt secure again and much more confident.
I'm soooooo happy!! And we had a really good lesson as well..... I'm a happy bunny. ;D What a difference a saddle can make!
Can't wait for the new one to arrive from Ebay now....

Congratulations! Sounds like we've been having similar problems. During a recent saddle fitting I tried an Albion K2 GP which I loved but just couldn't afford. So I got a 2nd hand one in exactly the same size from e-bay, but unfortunately it was too wide on him. Keeping our old saddle wasn't an option because that was no longer right on him either and had rubbed him. So this week somone else came out and lent me a 2nd hand Stubben Seigfried GP to try. Its perfect on him and we used it in our lesson today. It felt great! Am definately going to buy it now!
Hope your new one arrives soon!

That's great Sue. I know exactly what you mean about saddles making such a difference. Not suprising really when you think how we are all differently shaped. We spend no end of time and money looking for saddles to suit/fit our horses yet don't pay that much attention over what fits our own physical shape.
