Looks like it would be ideal for a skinny tb. Ironically, I was looking at aussie stock saddles the other day for Lady Bear I know nothing about them, but they look like a comfy ride.

I had an Austrialian stock saddle for Sam a few years ago. It was fantastic to ride in and felt very secure. The only problem with it was it was really, really heavy.

I would second the heaviness, they weigh a ton! The saddles I've seen haven't been brilliant quality and had very hard leather. I don't think they are the right shape for a native - although this one looks nicer than the ones I've seen.

We used one on one of our Fell ponies when she was slim and fit this spring and it worked well and was very comfortable and secure to ride in. However, she has now put that weight back on over the summer and is back to being pleasantly plump. There is no way now that it would fit without wringing her withers!! It was the widest Aussie tree that we could get.....

My friend has one that came with her horse. It had been used for endurance races and she swears by it. Her horse is a Welsh x but nowhere as wide as most Dales.
