We have eventually found a beautiful saddle for Flash from Native saddle company. Lovely guy called Dean came out today and looked at Flash ,went to his van and picked a lovely saddle out, put it on and it was nearly perfect. Just needs a little extra flocking on the back and it will be back with me on Saturday all done and ready to go. I needed a new girth as the other one was too long so I thought I ought to have a new numnah to go with a new saddle. So I brought a gorgeous sheepskin one!( Hope Daves not reading this!)and I may just have to have a new bridle to match(next month!) Absolutely wonderful service from this company if anyone is thinking of going to them for a saddle!
Flash was such a good boy when I tested the saddle, didn't want to trot as it was far too hot to work but we managed a little one!

Yes Gill, it is the Glen and it was so comfy! Just have to wait until after our lovely weekend away then I can test drive it properly!
Bev, the numnah is a tad expensive but I just don't care!!! Lol!

I had a look at the native pony saddle, and really liked the look of it. If I decide to go back to treed saddles, I would definitely consider one.

I bet that was a relief. They do seem very good saddles for the Dales shape

Glad you're sorted. I've got 3 of their saddles now and the numnahs, although expensive, are well worth it. Just make sure you use wool stuff for washing them - my OH shrunk one of mine...thankfully I had a smaller saddle to use it on!
