Well after weeks of Huw trying to find a saddle to fit Perrywinkle the table top lol, I have had to bite the bullet and order one from Horse and Harmony, its due on Monday so will take some pics when it arrives, I really want to get on and ride her a little before the winter sets in and time is getting on I,m afraid.

I like the look of the barefoot saddles. Will be interested to see what you & Perywinkle think of how it rides.

Its going fine at the moment I have ridden Twinkle a few times in it and its very comfortable and Twinkle seems happy enough in it, the only problem really is the fact that she is so wide and because it is treeless obviously you are sitting very wide if that makes sense, its ok for me as i,m quite tall with a 32 inside leg, if you were shorter I think you may be struggling a bit if your pony is very wide. But overally I,m very happy with it and the quality is very good.

thank you linda, but wouldn't want any harm to come to it,. I know there rather expensive belongings.
I think im going to go down the treeless route, or at least untill her back heals.

Amanda, I noticed the North Lincs RC are having a treeless saddle session at Kenwick Park in December. They don't say what particular make/makes of saddle they are using but do say there will be saddles for all disciplines and you can try them out on your horse on the day. I thought I'd find out more about it out of interest, although I am very happy with my treed saddle.

Amanda - it's December 14th 7PM but I've no idea who is running it or what saddles they are using. Keep meaning to ring up about it.........
I'm glad you've got yourself sorted with a Fhoenix GP. I'm sure you and Emma will be very happy with it. I think Emma being that bit narrower than Harvey will make all the difference.
