We went with William to a club drive out at Carron dam reservoir today. We had a really good day. It was a lovely day and stayed dry and was sunny. There were four turnouts at the drivout and we had a fab drive along beside Carron dam reserviour. William was very well behaved, especially for his first driveout in company. He was a little "keen" to start with but very quickly settled. We had turnouts behind and infront of us at various points and he did not seem woried at all. It was a lovely drive and we passed lots of little streams and waterfalls, none of which bothered him. I was very pleased with how he was today and he was very relaxed and chilled standing at the trailer both before while we were all harnassing up and putting to and after when we came back, he stood tied outside the trailer whith a haynet while we all sat and had our packed luches before packing up. Standing quite happily at the trailer getting harnessed up ready to go View from the drive out going alongside the reservoir A couple of pics my mum took from the backstep as we went along My mum jumped off the backstep to get one of us coming along the track A line up of the turnouts that went today

Yes Zelda it is Carron Valley Reservoir near Denny. It is great and a lovely drive. It is the first time I have been there, there were also lots of cyclists and walkers, they can acess it, but to get the carts through or ride you have to contact the ranger who has the key to open the barrier to let us through. They did not seem to bother and any time we want to drive if we cantact them we can get the gate opened. We might go back !

Looks like you had great fun and really lucky that the weather held out for you. Mum and i use to do this sort of thing with my old mare. Mum was and still is a memeber of the Oxfrodshire Driving club and they did and still do drives. It is so nice going out in a group for a drive. Well done William for being such a good boy on his first big outting like that.
