We widened the shafts to fit Fatso in, and made the tiny tug stops a bit bigger and less pointy - they would have shredded you as they were. It's got nice rounded ones now.
Next stage will be the painting, and alloy wheels (Mike's idea...) but that's not important just now.
So it's ready to go, as soon as I can get my help!!!!
Tonight I might practise attaching the breeching straps to it, just so I know how to do it when it's on Harley. I can use a barrel or something to hang the harness over. I just want to be able to do everything quickly and easily once he goes in, so he doesn't have chance to start fiddgeting or worrying.
So exciting to think inthe next fortnight I will be driving him!! I just can't wait, and pray it all goes well.

Well done Jane! You'll beat Flash in the shafts as his carriage didn't fit and we think poor little chap has a wolf tooth which needs removing so we'll not be ready for a few weeks now. Must get him right though before we start again! Your Harleygig will look smart when you've finished it!

Poor Flash, what a shame your cart didn't fit. I had a rough measure of the shafts and *think* they'll be OK, if not, Mike the Super Welder will be able to do something I'm sure... Fingers crossed though
Hope the tooth is easily sorted!
