Debbie. You should have see Pete and Bob (perchs) In December. When they were first hitched they were wired for sound! Talk about power! And I am a twig and yet they listened to me....wow!

I have Percherons and Dales Ponies and always use a full collar for farm-work or logging. I have a 22 inch "Field Collar" with stainless steel hames which I purchased from Aaron Martin Harness Manufacturers in Canada ( they ship internationally ). It's adjustable by an inch each way and fits my Dales mares and my Dales stallion. The sweat pads make it really comfortable, it never rubs and is smart enough for driving. My percherons have the same, just bigger! Here's the link to the website if you fancy a look : www.aaronmartin.com/tour.html

Wow!!! That was a neat website!!! I just loved getting a peek at the machinery, and looking at all the equipment at the ready.
I've paid attention to the Amish drivers over the past month, and it looks as though they all drive 'two handed'. ;D
