This October I want to go learn to drive - something I've always wanted to do, but not had time or money.
So does anyone have any recommendations? I'd quite like to go to mid/north Wales, as I could then go check them out before actually booking. But if there was somewhere super good a bit further afield that'd be cool too.
Cheers

There is a driving centre in Wales, and for some reason I cannot remember the name!! I am sure it will come to me ......
Not sure how much they can learn you during a holiday, but I assume you should be able to harness up and drive by the end of it?

That's a wonderful link and looks quite fun, SuzieP!!
This will seem stupid, but how long does a 'standard' British holiday last? Just curios as, in the US, normal working class gets two weeks 'vacation/holiday' for the whole year.

Hi Debbie,
I get 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, and 5 priviledge days. So all in all I get LOADS of annual leave and never know quite what to do with it all...
I phoned two places in Wales - and to be honest they didn't inspire me with confidence. I then found a place on the Scottish Borders that sounded great, and really nice on the phone. So I've booked to go there for 5 days. By the end of it I'm hoping I have got the basics and have a good starting point for some ongoing lessons.

I don't know of it but it sounds really good and in an area I'd like to visit some time. Plus you can bring your own horse there.......... A detailed description of the place, please, when you get back and lots of pics too. It sounds like you are going to have a fab holiday!

Have a great time Olivai. Glad you got sorted.
Narcisse and Louistic say that if you need a horse, they can both drive and would be happy to go with you and carry your suitcase!
