We decided to try some saddle chariot stuff with Wiz ( Buttonend Lord Isaac) after long reining Pants in our Claire lesson today so here's how he did!    We did some "emergency quick releases" with the chariot (sorry no pics) which only got a little panic ( 2 steps and turn and look!) and he was brill for saying we've never had a cart near him! Claire was ace as she stopped me doing too much (I'd have been galloping round the field... yeah right!!) and Wiz was fantastic!! Pants was also great with long reining round a line of cones. Claire reckons my ponies all practice in the field when we're not there as they get better each week with no practice on my part! I just love 'em!! |

Awwwww! He looks LOVERLY in his harness! Can't wait to see all your ponies demonstrating. Tell them to keep practicing, they'll be ace by the 5th!

If I could have Claire come every day I would, Debbie! She makes me get off my a*se!! I am promising myself a ménage next year as our fields are touch and go as to whether we can work on them!
Pls all pary for dry weather until the 5th Dec!! LOL! AND bring wellies!!

Isaac is 10 and rides fine but we are starting his driving education with the plan to get him in a cart before Amy is out of commission with her foalie, now she is a real driving pony, though a late starter (in her 14th year).
Pants (my brown Welshie is 11, but was ruined as a baby so everything is back to basics with him, did you see his long reining pics? He makes Isaac look easy!
Your pics are fantastic, keep them coming! Hopefully more folks will think of driving too!
