Bea always loses condition over winter and this year I was determined that he wouldn't. He's been on blue chip since the autumn - half the quantity recommended. And here are two pics to compare. You can also see how the schooling regime has muscled him up so much better. I feel quite proud of him at the moment. This one was taken on 12 March 2006 (note the snowflakes - so it was bloody cold this time last year as well!!) And this one was taken this morning - please excuse the lack of grooming and the fifth leg, he was feeling rather proud of himself! The only problem now is that he's going into spring and summer at just the right weight, so now the problem will be stopping him getting too fat!! LOL - just can't win can we?

Wow, Sue, he's looking fantastic. What a transformation from the horse I first saw just after you got him! Yes, at this rate, by next year you will be worrying over how to get him to lose weight!

Wow Sue, it's trully hard to believe he's the same horse as when you first got him. And the difference even from last year to this is so definite, no wonder you're proud of him - he looks fabulous. I give Knight half quantityof a feed balancer also, but funny it doesn't seem to work quite the same on Knight. Probably because Knight doesn't get near the exercise Bea does, Knight would be tired just thinking about all Bea's exercise.

I thought when I saw him Saturday he looked in really good condition. You look very smart in the first pic, Sue.

Its amazing the difference the food has made. Well, that and your TLC I'm sure Its always amazed me when you put the pics side by side, you can see the changes so easily, but when they are right in front of your eyes, there is so much that slips by day to day.
