It's beautiful Leann- the detail in each room is amazing! I too loves dolls houses - my dad made one for Anna when she was small and he used to make all the furniture out of odd pieces if hardwood, he made this amazing chest of drawers out of oak with dovetail joints. It's very dear to me and is currently sitting in my attic!

Aww thanks everyone...Gill your Dad must have been really patient and clever with his hands to make such detailed furniture. ..I have put together a Box Settle from a kit which is in the scullery of the dolls house at the moment ... . I nearly went cross eyed trying to piece it together and my hands kept shaking all the time LOL. I went to a miniature fair at York Race Course a couple of weeks ago and it was lovely to see just what exactly is available and some of the Dolls houses there were just to die for! I nearly fainted at the cost of a rocking horse for the nursery [looked a little like Dear Connie so in the end I bought it in kit form for quite a bit less complete with leather saddle and hair mane. I'm not sure when I will dare start to assemble it as the box settle was tricky enough. Got plenty to keep me occupied over Christmas anyway.

Beautiful Leann, definately not daft. Irene tells me she goes to a lot of these miniture fairs and I think I might go along with her next time. They sound fascinating. I would never have the patience - or eyesight come to that - to be able to do such intricate work.

;D These are so much more fun to play with than the real thing. I bet it was great fun to install. Oooh, best of luck with that rocking horse I use a pair of magnifying/reading glasses if I'm doing fiddly work. A jeweler warned me years back to invest in a pair...he said it helps protect your eyes from strain. I'm sure that will keep you busy for many a cold winters knight.
