Desirable residence [not for sale]  After more than two years my dolls house is starting to near completion.  complete with electrics and a beautiful bathroom [thank you Sue]  just thought some of you would like to see it. |

It's beautiful Leann! Everything is perfectly scaled - did you do all the work yourself? It must have taken hours and hours and endless patience.
My friend Irene does this sort of thing too - she would love to see your dolls house.

Thanks for your nice comments... I can't really take any credit for it myself as OH has papered it throught and pu the electrics in. I sooooo pleased with it though. It still needs loads of furniture etc and I'm sure I'll be getting pleasure for years to come buying bits for it..

It looks lovely Leann.
I've just finished a 10 year old client and she was telling me that she wants a dolls house for Christmas but her parents think she is too old for one. So I told her about yours! How silly are some parents? I would be so pleased that my daughter wanted to actually play with something that would exercise the imagination instead of being stuck into DVD's and computer games.

I can so appreciate the time and effort that goes into these houses. My Grandma and Grandpa spent many ours of enjoyment putting them together, which my sister took a huge interest in as well. Sadly both my Grandparents have pass away now, but my sister took over the house and loves it so much.

I have felt a bit daft in the past and reluctant to tell some people that I like doll houses but when I mentioned it last night at the stables Christmas get together, it was surprising how many people were interested and could remember theirs and would like to rekindle or re vamp them.

No way is it daft!! I've been in complete awe of the hardwork and detail that goes into the dollhouses. That everything is soooo meticulously crafted, down to the last nth, and to scale ~ just boggles my mind! Oh Leann, its beautiful!!! Please, keep sharing pics  |
