SNOW!!!

After last week's ice, I can't tell you how happy I am to see honest snow!!! Its coming down as I type. Yesterday we drove further afield to get in some supplies, and was stunned at how little ice other areas had. We finally got some sunshine and other towns were all but completely melted, but their grass was never coated like ours was. Just lucky this time round I guess. The sun did but a fair dent on the ice, but my word that stuff's heavy! I tried to shift some from the back of Blossom's field shelter.....fat chance, it stays til it melts. I'm more than happy to see the fluffy white stuff. Looks like we've got a normal winter and a White Christmas this year!!!!

Not from her expression this morning. She promptly lost her carrots to the snow LOL...when I left she was looking a bit frumpy, rooting around trying to find them again.

;D She didn't have to wait that long, this morning they got put high and dry inside the field shelter. No losing them in the fluffy white stuff. Honestly, though, how do you lose something bright orange??

I was reading this and talking to work colleagues about the snow you have had.... and whilst reading calmly announced that you had an ice storm and now you had .....carrots!
I was crying with laughter and they all think I have gone mad!

I can just picture that! Actually that sounds like something I'd do. No matter, people tend to give you a wide berth when they can't understand your laughter ;D

;D I can't wait to see Anne! We've got bright clear blue skies just now, at 18*F. I'd best get pics of the snow today, though. Not only do I suspect it'll melt a bit this afternoon, but they're calling for rain again on Thursday. What's with the rain this year??
