Just got back and it was FAB! I had a brilliant time doing handbrake turns round corners and thrashing the rally car round the course. All the staff at Silverstone were ever so helpful, professional and made absolutely sure we had a good time. Scruff helped out as well as he had to be left in the car at the main gate. This meant we had to have a lift to and from the rally course. One of the management gave us a lift back and when he found out we had never been to Silvertone before, made a detour and took us round the Grand Prix track and gave us a guided tour of the place! What a lovely "extra" treat. Joe wouldn't let me drive home. We heard about people who carry on driving as though they are still at Silverstone and have accidents! Linda it looks amazing...how long did you get to spend in the car then? Those pictures are great and wonderful that you had the bonus of a guided tour around the place. LOL at Joe insisting on driving home.  |

I had at least half an hour driving. They say 25 mins but they gave me very long goes for some reason! Joe reckons 40-50 minutes altogether. I'm still grinning!

LOL at Joe! You're probably a safer driver after the rallying than before because you know how to control a car on different road surfaces now!
We'll have to call you The Stig now.....LOL

WOW!!! That's brilliant Linda !!!  It reminds me of the "Speedracer" cartoons. ;D Pity Joe didn't let you drive home afterwards. Ah well, I suppose those other cars do get in the way don't they?  |
